On April 13,2013, I competed in the 3rd Annual Rio Grande Valley Jiu-Jitsu Open. It was held at the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas. My weigh-in weight was 141.8 pounds. I competed in the Gi and Nogi 155-167 pound white, yellow, orange and green belt divisions. I won first place in both Gi and Nogi. There were many medal winners from Harlingen Jiu-Jitsu Club and HJJC won the 1st place team award!
