On April 24, 2016 I competed in the BFA 7 Gi World Championships. The Battle 4 The Ages Championships is a tournament designed to find the most dominant boy and girl Brazilian Jiu Jitsu player, across the country, at ages 8 thru 16, Preteen Female(10-12), Young Teen Female(13-14) and Female Teen(15-16).It is submission only tournament, no points tallied, with points for submission attempts if sudden death overtime. The matches are 6-minute matches. It is an invitational only tournament. There is no weight class. Competitors are grouped by age only. I won the 16 year old championship. I lost in the absolute finals by submission with about six seconds to go in the match. There is no second place at BFA tournaments.
