On September 6, 2014, I competed in the South Texas Jiu-Jitsu Classic. At the age of 14, I competed in the adult male gi light weight (147 – 163 lb) division and the adult male nogi advanced light weight (147 – 163 lb) division. I weighed-in at 160 lbs. I won 1st place in both gi and nogi. I had two matches in each division and won all four of my matches. All four of my matches were against different competitors. Thank you to Gabriel Ambriz, Jaymes Chancey for coaching me during my matches. Thank you to my instructor Jake Montalvo and to all my training partners and teammates.
